Get A Grip Climbing Net: Large - 2 Lengths

PLEASE NOTE: the above price is for one Large Short Get A Grip Climbing Net. You will need to choose which size you would like in the Available Options box above. If you would like the Large Long Get A Grip Climbing Net the Additional Price shown there will be ADDED to the price of the Large Short size.

Dimensions - Large Short: 4 feet x 5 feet has 7 inch x 7 inch spaces. Can be seen in the picture located fourth from the top at right.
Dimensions - Large Long: 4 feet x 8 feet has 7 inch x 7 inch spaces. Can be seen in the picture located fifth from the top at right.

They are made from 1 inch diameter all natural, completely non-toxic, safe, Abaca rope. Each Get a Grip Climbing Net comes with 4 XL heavy duty stainless steel quick links for attachment.

What is Abaca?
Manila hemp is the fibre extracted from the leaves of the Abaca plant (Musa textilis) which is related to the banana. It is widely distributed in the hot humid tropics of the Western Hemisphere.
The fibres, which are extracted from the surface layers of the leaves, are long slim cells forming part of the supporting structure of the leaf and are associated with the water and food-transporting systems (xylem and phloem respectively) of the plant. The fibre strands, which can be up to 3 meters in length, are composed of many single fibre cells bound together.
Manila hemp is spun into yarn to be used for the manufacture of ropes and coarse cloth for sacking. Because of their durability these ropes are frequently used as ships' rigging and other marine cables.

The Get A Grip Climbing Nets provide a climbing and playing environment that most emulates a natural forest or jungle. These climbing grids can be hung (a 45 degree angle works best) or draped (like a hammock)and their configuration changed as often as you like!
Parrots can climb up and down or across it, and even pop on through to the other side or hang upside-down off it. Toys and even tree branches b>can be hung from it. It has a very solid feel. It looks attractive and this is the next best thing to having a live jungle tree IN your house!

Your bird can climb, play, go in and out of the spaces and create their own games, all the while exercising their body and mind, with the grid providing secure footing. While actively playing with toys or treats that you have hung on the grid your companion bird(s) will feel safe and secure. With your imagination, the applications for fun and exercise with the Get a Grip Climbing Nets are endless!

Please Note: The additional pictured toys are not included.

CLEANING: We have found that the best way to clean the Get A Grip Climbing Nets is to wipe down or soak the dirty areas in the Oxyfresh Cleansing Gele' (which can be viewed by clicking on the underlined link in blue) which we use for cleaning everything used with our birds! A mild liquid dishwashing liquid (like Dove or Palmolive) diluted at 2 tablespoons per gallon of warm water can also work. They may also be washed in a FRONT LOADING clothes washng machine - but NOT in top loaders as they can get caught in the agitator and potentially be destroyed!

We recommend this size for all large parrot species including Amazons, African Greys, Eclectus, Small Cockatoos and up to the largest of Cockatoo and Macaw Species and similarly sized birds.

The Get A Grip Climbing Nets are also available in
Small (2 foot x 3 foot with 4 inch x 4 inch spaces and 1/2 inch diameter rope),
Medium Short (3 foot x 4 foot with 5 inch x 5 inch spaces and 1 inch diameter rope) and
Medium Long (3 foot x 6 foot with 5 inch x 5 inch spaces and 1 inch diameter rope) sizes - which are also available on our website.
